Recipe: Day 2 Salsa

It's the second day of the battle of the salsa's. This one has a lot of ingredients. Maybe it looks like so many because I'm used to fast and easy. Not that this doesn't look easy, but I could definitely see myself not using some of these ingredients in my salsa. With that being said, it is a bragging rights winner, so maybe mixing all these together and having them set up and combine flavors might just do the trick in the end. When we get the margarita's flowing, they all taste scrumptious.

This recipe makes about 10 servings and the items needed are roma tomatoes, medium tomatoes, fresh cilantro, red onion, garlic, celery, jalapenos, green chili pepper, serrano pepper, salt, red cayenne pepper, and black pepper.

Combine 8 chopped roma tomatoes, 8 chopped medium tomatoes, 1 bunch of finely chopped cilantro, 1 medium chopped red onion, 2 stalks of finely chopped celery, and 1 minced garlic clove in a large bowl and mix well.

Add to the mix, 2 small jalapeno peppers, 1 green chili pepper, 1 serrano pepper, 1 teaspoon each of black pepper, red cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix this together and let set in the refrigerator at least an hour.
