Recipe: Stuffed Mushrooms

This recipe today is a tip of the hat towards the husband. He loves stuffed mushrooms. I can't remember a time when he turned down someone's mushrooms. He loves them really hot right out of the oven. This is a quick recipe that is great for any occasion.

The items that are needed are mushrooms, ground beef, shredded cheese, grated Parmesan, and bread crumbs.

Preheat oven to 375*F. Grease a large baking sheet. Cut and remove the mushrooms stems off of 12 large mushrooms.

Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat and add 6 ounces of ground beef. Cook until brown and crumbly, then drain. Stir the mushroom stems, beef, 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan, 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs, and 1/4 cup shredded cheese into the skillet. Mix nicely.

Remove skillet and spoon beef mixture into mushroom caps on baking sheet. Spread evenly another 1/4 cup shredded cheese on top of mushrooms and bake for 15 minutes.
