Recipe: Pork BBQ Sanwiches

Hi! Thanks for coming on back and joining me today. I'm a little late with this blog, well, I suppose I'm not. What time frame should I be on? I think I am OK for today. I will just type really fast so the lunch time crowd can still read this, ha!

Items needed are pulled pork, hamburger buns, lemon juice, cayenne pepper sauce, onion, butter, ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.

In a large skillet on medium heat add 1 tablespoon butter, 1 1/2 pounds cooked pulled pork, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard, pinch of salt, and a splash of cayenne pepper sauce and mix well.


Keep on heat until bubbly while stirring occasionally.

Reduce heat to simmer and cover for 5 minutes. Stir a couple times while simmering.

Slightly toast 6 hamburger buns in the toaster set on low. Divide pork mixture amongst the buns and if like onion, cut 1 medium onion into slices and separate rings to go on top of each. Serve with chips and pickles.
